The Tiny Health Baby Microbiome Test Visit is designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of your baby’s gut health. This service includes a gut microbiome test and a follow-up visit to discuss the results, all with the guidance of an experienced IBCLC. Why is it important? Your baby’s gut health plays a crucial role in their overall well-being, influencing everything from digestion to immune function. By understanding your baby’s unique gut environment, you can take proactive steps to support their health and development. How does it work? - The sampling process is simple and takes less than 5 minutes. It can be done easily at home. - After your first telehealth visit, our IBCLC will immediately place an order for the Tiny Health test. - The gut sample collection kit will be mailed to you and should arrive within 3-5 days. - Collect and register (takes less than 5 min and is completely intervention-free to your baby! Just a diaper sample! Follow-Up Visit: Once we receive the results, we’ll schedule a follow-up visit to discuss your baby’s gut health report and provide personalized recommendations, including pumping and breastfeeding support. What’s included? - 1x Baby Gut Microbiome Test: A detailed analysis of your baby’s gut microbial environment. - An insurance-covered initial follow-up visit to discuss the results and receive tailored support (coverage varies by insurance). About the Test: The Tiny Health baby gut report provides an overview of your baby’s gut microbial environment, categorized into one of seven Tiny Health Baby Gut Types. It highlights beneficial bacteria, identifies potential dysbiosis, and outlines any disease associations.
